Winter in California is generally a farce. This winter has proven to put us to the test. The whine factor I am sure has increased with the 2 weeks we have had of rain which has produced more water in a single day than we often times receive in a full year. This has certainly solidified my good standing as a homebody. Confort foods have been my therapy this season. I have enjoyed the smells and flavors that have created the "warm fuzzies" for my family.

Border city of Tijuana, Mexico is considered too dangerous to pass through for many. The violence and uncertainty of the streets have deterred tourists and dollars from continued growth.
